All ten FBS conferences will be hosting their 2020 football media days virtually. The last conference to make that decision was the ACC, which finally made the announcement on Thursday morning.

Over the past two months, the 10 FBS conferences have announced alternate plans for this year’s media days. The B1G, SEC and ACC were the last three schools to make the decision to host the annual event in a virtual setting, as those tend to be the most popular each summer.

Dates, times and formats have not been mentioned, other than they’ll be held virtually. The previously-scheduled media days had been scheduled for various dates in July. It’s unclear at this time if dates will be pushed back.

Shifting to a virtual format for media days is a smart move considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Cutting down on any unnecessary chances of spreading the virus with large gatherings before the start of the season — especially with coaches and players in attendance — is an important decision.

The first college football games are scheduled for the final weekend in August. The B1G will kick things off on Sept. 3.All 10 c
